What file formats do you support?

We support conversion between .lrtemplate, .xmp, and .dng formats. You can convert from any of these formats to any other supported format.

What is the difference between .lrtemplate and .xmp presets?

.lrtemplate is the native format for Lightroom Classic, while .xmp is Adobe's newer format that works with Adobe Camera Raw, Photoshop, and Lightroom CC. The .xmp format is more universal and future-proof.

How accurate is the conversion?

Our conversion process preserves all adjustment settings including exposure, contrast, highlights, shadows, whites, blacks, clarity, vibrance, saturation, and more. The conversion is highly accurate and maintains the original preset's look.

Can I convert multiple files at once?

Which Adobe applications support .xmp presets?

Can I use .lrtemplate presets in Lightroom CC?

No, Lightroom CC only supports .xmp presets. You'll need to convert your .lrtemplate presets to .xmp format using our converter.

Do converted presets work with older Lightroom versions?

.lrtemplate presets work with all versions of Lightroom Classic. .xmp presets work with Lightroom Classic 7.3 and later, as well as Lightroom CC and Adobe Camera Raw.
